I Am Third
Lost and Found
DESCRIPTION:
Every year, the cameras on our smartphones improve, yet we’re still not seeing a clear picture of the world we’re called to change. Who are those people in the background of your selfie, those strangers who accidentally photobombed your picture? Who are those people with no names and forgettable faces who pass by you every day? Who are those co-workers, cashiers, neighbors and even “friends” whom you interact with, but don’t really know. They are theothers—not us, not family, not in our circle—but still those whom Jesus died for and calls us to love. They are lonely. Depressed. Broken. Lost. Once upon a time, we were the others. But God found us. In this series, the others, we’re going back to the basics on why the church is the church and how we can reach our world, simply by loving our neighbors as ourselves.
